Day 4: Clean Energy for People

The sixth edition of the international online conference „Clean Energy for People“ will be held between 24.04.2023 and 28.04.2023. For the second year in a row, E3G – Third Generation Environmentalism and CEE Bankwatch Network, are joining as partners the main organizers from the environmental association Za Zemiata – Friends of the Earth Bulgaria.

This year’s edition is placing focus on efforts and challenges of scaling up building renovation and accelerating the development of clean heating on individual and district scale. Once more heat pumps, solar thermal, and district heating will be on the forefront, with discussions on their potential and economic viability. We will take a look at European and national policies, as well as household-oriented financial instruments and programmes.

Participants from all over Europe — Belgium, France, Germany, England, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland included, will share their experiences in creating affordable solutions that could ensure a clean and green future. The conference provides experts and decision-makers with a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the context of European efforts to decarbonise the building stock and heating sector.
