I can guide you on how to install XAMPP on your laptop or computer system for a WordPress course. XAMPP is a free and open-source cross-platform web server solution stack package developed by Apache Friends, consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MariaDB database, and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages.

*Step 1: Download XAMPP*
Visit the official XAMPP website: *apachefriends.org*
Click on the "Download" button.

*Step 2: Install XAMPP*
✅ Run the installer that you downloaded.
✅ Follow the on-screen instructions to install XAMPP.
✅ Choose the components you want to install (Apache, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin are essential for WordPress).
✅ Select the installation directory (the default is usually fine).

*Step 3: Start Apache and MySQL*
After the installation is complete, launch the XAMPP Control Panel.

✅ On Windows, you can find it in the Start menu or on the desktop.
✅ On macOS, you can find it in the Applications folder.
Start the Apache and MySQL modules by clicking on the "Start" button next to them.

*Step 4: Create a Database for WordPress*
✅ Open your web browser and go to *localhost/phpmyadmin*.
✅ Click on the "Databases" tab and create a new database (e.g., wordpress).

*Step 5: Download and Install WordPress*
✅ Download the latest version of WordPress from wordpress.org/download/.
✅ Extract the WordPress zip file into the "htdocs" directory in your XAMPP installation folder (e.g., C:\xampp\htdocs on Windows).

*Step 6: Configure WordPress*
✅ Open your browser and go to localhost/wordpress (replace "wordpress" with the name of the folder you extracted WordPress into).

Follow the WordPress installation wizard:
✅ Choose your language.
✅ Enter the database information (database name, username, password, and host). Use "localhost" as the host.
✅ Set up the rest of the configuration as needed.

*Step 7: Complete WordPress Installation*
Complete the WordPress installation by providing site details, creating an admin account, and clicking "Install WordPress."

Now, you should have a local WordPress installation on your laptop or computer using XAMPP. You can access your WordPress site by going to localhost/wordpress or the appropriate URL based on your installation path.

WordPress -- 19 Files (Copy/Paste)

And Create a New Database File

Set Language -- English and Click to Continue
Set WordPress -- Database Name and user(root)
