Is something really better than nothing?

These days, we are all familiar with tear trough filler.

It can be an appealing, quick fix for tired, dark undereye circles.

Sometimes tear trough filler isn’t enough! As we age, true fat bags appear in the lower eyelid and must be removed to get a result that is pretty, not puffy.

This can be a hard discussion to have with a patient who has previously been treatable with fillers alone!

In this video, I explain why it may be better to remain completely untreated rather than pursue tear trough filler when you are not a good candidate.
