Sticky Notes not working FIX [Windows 11]

Can't see your notes in the Sticky Notes app? Getting errors when the app is loading? Here's how you can fix it.

While Windows 10 or 11 doesn’t offer a very straightforward way to reinstall the Sticky Notes app, you can reinstall Sticky Notes in less than five minutes either using the built-in PowerShell or using a third-party tool such as CCleaner. However, resetting the app is a straightforward as it can be done under Settings. If the Sticky Notes app is not opening or not working, you can reset and reinstall it by following my video steps.

METHOD 1 - RESETTING STICKY NOTES APP VIA SETTINGS
1. Open Start menu, click Settings icon to open Settings app. Click Apps, then Installed apps.
2. Now, find the Sticky Notes app. Click on its entry and proceed to app's Advanced options.
3. Click the Repair.
4. This should fix your Sticky Notes app without losing any data.
5. Click the Reset (If the repair didn't fix your problem).
6. Next, tap the Reset button again when you see the confirmation dialog to reset Sticky Notes app.
7. The Sticky Notes app should now reappear or show up in the Start menu.

METHOD 2 - RESETTING STICKY NOTES APP VIA POWERSHELL
1. Run Windows PowerShell as an Administrator.
2. To remove the app, use this command: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.MicrosoftStickyNotes | Remove-AppxPackage
3. To install back Sticky Notes, put in this command: Get-AppxPackage –allusers Microsoft.MicrosoftStickyNotes | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"
4. If required, restart your system to apply changes.

♦ In case the above command for reinstalling Sticky Notes does not work for you, use a Microsoft Store instead to get it back.
