How To INCREASE YOUR VA Disability Rating From 90 to 100
I have had a few veterans that have reached out to me about going from a 90% VA Disability rating to a 100% Disability rating and before I toss out a few suggestions I wanted to bring up a two points.

This will be the most important 10% VA disability rating increase you will encounter? Why?
If you are a single veteran getting paid at the 90% VA Disability rate you are getting paid approximately $1,862.96
A single veteran that has a 100% VA disability rating is getting paid $3,106.04 per month. That is a huge difference and that is one of the main reasons that is is the most important 10% VA disability rating increase you will encounter.
The second point I would like to cover is that you need to know what your actual VA disability rating currently is. If you are getting paid at the 90% Va disability rate then you are somewhere between 85% and 80% rounded up to 90 or you are between 91% and 94% rounded down to 90 so you need to know where you are. In order to get paid at the 100% VA disability rate, you need to be at 95% or higher.
Ok so how do you get there? I am going to go out on a limb here and make the assumption that you did not do a good job going to the doctor and you are still not getting the exact compensation that you deserve. You might have a medical disability that you didn’t know could be service-connected or you just didn’t know about something going on in your body.
Let's say you have a 70% rating for PTSD and a 50% rating for obstructive sleep apnea. That would put you at 85% which is actually rounded up to 90%.
If you are looking to get to 95% you are going to need some valuable VA claims and you will also need another 60 or 70% to get you there.
If you add in 50% for migraines you will be at 93% so that won’t quite do it but its a good start.
If you add in another 30% claim for IBS or GERD that will get you there.
This was just a quick example and the main point here is to focus on high-value VA claims. Trying to get a 10% increase on your old foot injury isn’t going to move the needle. If you want to To INCREASE YOUR VA Disability Rating From 90 to 100 you need to know exactly where you are now and exactly what you are going to need to get yourself there.
