Saturday’s Weekly Walk & Talk Live Audit in Golden Hill was shaping up to be one of the best streams yet. We had an awesome crowd in chat, great conversations, and over 40 live viewers still hanging around 25 minutes into the stream — which is honestly incredible for a mostly unscripted, community-driven walk and talk.

Unfortunately, the livestream unexpectedly disconnected mid-broadcast. On my end it just looked like everyone vanished at once. A few moments later several viewers found their way back into the stream and we continued on, but YouTube only saved the first portion of the live.

I delayed uploading the replay because I was attempting to recover the second half of the footage, but after trying everything I could, it appears that portion is gone for good. 😥

Even with the technical issues, this stream reinforced exactly what the Weekly Walk & Talk Live Audits are becoming: a place to explore different San Diego neighborhoods, interact with subscribers in real time, and document whatever unfolds naturally along the way.
