Edward Elgar: Serenade for strings [ANALYSIS]

Elgar's Serenade for strings: the joyful naivete and the passionate lines preluding to his later works. Published in 1892, the Serenade for Strings is amongst the composer’s most popular works and one of the most frequently asked pieces in conducting competitions and auditions.
