Albanese government’s $300 energy ‘handout’ is an ‘admission of failure’ from Labor
Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the government’s $300 “handout” is an “admission of failure” from the Labor Party.
Last week, on Tuesday night, Treasurer Jim Chalmers delivered the 2024-25 federal budget last week, on Tuesday night, which included a $300 energy rebate.
“Clearly, the government’s energy policy has failed, and this week’s handout of $300 is an admission of failure from the Labor government,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Paul Murray.
