Drawing a Sea Turtle with Cheap Art Supplies from The Reject Shop!

Oh dear...this video did NOT turn out the way I expected it to! I had thought to try and make art with some cheap supplies because I know not everyone has the budget to buy expensive high quality brands, and also right now The Reject Shop is one of the few stores that is actually allowed to stay open during Melbourne's Stage 4 Lockdown (at the time of filming).

While some of the things were fine, others were so frustrating with their uselessness, and thus I have reached the conclusion that, at least with art supplies, you almost always get what you pay for! A much better idea would be to save up and invest in fewer but nicer quality supplies that will bring joy and help improve your artwork more quickly. Improvement happens when fun is being had, not when it is a huge struggle because the supplies refuse to co-operate, lol!

So I'm afraid I rant a bit in this video, but I figure it's a lesson for us all; don't buy cheap art supplies!
