London Heathrow Airport EGLL - Late 1950s/Early 1960s - silent footage

With kind permission from one of our clients, we present to you iconic footage of London (Heathrow) Airport - EGLL - during the late 1950s or early 1960s - not a jet in sight!

This silent footage was captured from a 16mm cine film and shows many aspects of the airport - some of it appears to be airside. Other scenes include Terminal 2, Queens Building, a restaurant, TWA, SAS, KLM airlines, the road to/from the airport and more. The cameraman also takes you to KLM's "shed" within the complex.
