Today, we look at Splatoon's cut content, like how Inklings were originally going to be humans, according to Hisashi Nogami's GDC 2018 presentation. Also, we show off some cut playable Octolings and early Salmon Run outfits, along with a beta game mode called "Tower". Loads of this game's cut content was left in the files of Super Mario Maker as well, with nearly 70 Splatoon items left behind! There are loads of beta items in the files of both games, including a golf visor model intended for the early rabbit characters to wear.
