Plum Village (France) - Vietnamese Zen Buddhism - Chants during a feast

During a september retreat, the nuns singing at the middle hamlet (dedicated to women) where a feast was organized this evening, reuniting nuns, monks, women and men visitors.
All the food were made by nuns and was only vegetarian Vietnamese specialties.

Usually, nuns and monk live separately in different hamlets and reunite only for feast or formal lunch.
The Plum Village (Bordeaux, France) was founded in 1982 by the great master Thich Nhat Hanh and his fellow nun Chan Khong from a Vietnamese Zen Buddhism tradition.
Thich Nhat Hanh is now 94 and works for world peace and teach Buddhism in Occident.
After decades living in Plum Village, he is now back living in Vietnam after a very long exile.

The Plum Village is opened to everyone - from every country - who want to proceed to a retreat, frequently organized by the monks living there.
