"You Ain't Goin' Nowhere" written by Bob Dylan in 1967 was recorded by The Byrds and released as a single on April 2, 1968, peaking at #74 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and featured Roger McGuinn as lead singer and Lloyd Green on pedal steel guitar. It was included on their sixth album, Sweetheart of the Rodeo released on August 30, 1968 on Columbia Records.
