Yesterday When I Was Young(cover)

As another year draws to an end, I think about my Dad, who passed a view years back, and of all the many songs he introduced me to. This one stands out the most. Even as a boy I felt the sadness and meaning in the song. A melancholy song about regret with a beautiful melody and words that most can relate to. However I believe that regret is more about guilt, and that neither emotion has any real purpose, except to hold us back and to limit our happiness. What lies ahead for any of us will be determined not as much by our choices, but by how we allow the beauty and gratitude of what we are experiencing to be felt. Savouring what makes us happy and grateful in all of the future moments that will string together to become the journey ahead. Hope you enjoy this cover with harmonica solo.
