Nana a Hurricane Threat and Typhoon Maysak Nears Landfall - Live Coverage

Tropical Storm Nana formed today in the Caribbean Sea, and is a hurricane threat to Central America as the storm continues to quickly organize. Tropical storm warnings and hurricane watches are already in place ahead of Nana's landfall, which is currently forecast to occur in under 2 days. Omar has also formed today but is not a significant land threat as it moves out to sea.

Typhoon Maysak is also active in the Western Pacific still as a powerful typhoon, and is forecast to make landfall in South Korea in under 24 hours as a very powerful storm, possibly near category 3 equivalent strength. Typhoon warnings are widespread in Korea in preparation for Maysak.
