Friendly Bear Visits Wrightwood Family | WRIGHTWOOD, CA 4.7.23

WRIGHTWOOD (LLN) - A local family got a visit last night, Thursday, April 06, 2023, by a beautiful, friendly bear who was just out for a stroll searching for food. As bears start to awaken from their winter slumber, they are finding it difficult to find berries and greens as many of our mountains are still covered in snow. The family, who wishes to remain anonymous, says, "People need to remember this is the bear's home too and to be kind to nature." This video is simply a reminder to keep your pets indoors at night and make sure your trash is in a secure bin to make it less inviting for the bears and other animals.
