HEY GUYS
some important tips and info i forgot to talk about:

- in total, i bleached my hair 3 times and used a baking soda mask to lift out the previous colour 3 times aswell. i strongly advise AGAINST this. in the future i’d only do the colour removing treatment once really evenly and thoroughly, working in sections (and only if there is any colour i want to remove) and i’d only bleach virgin hair twice at the absolute most

- when applying the bleach, work at a steady pace in small, thin sections to get the most even application

- it took me about 50 minutes to do one side of my roots and the length and then i let it process for 45 - 50 minutes, if you do happen to use this video as a guide please don’t exceed leaving it in for 45 minutes, using bleach is very dangerous and you don’t want to risk chemical burns on your skin or scalp

- i forgot to mention in the video but this was very brutal on my scalp and the skin surround my hairline, including my neck and ears, which became very sore, itchy, inflamed and flaky so please be EXTREMELY careful to not touch your skin

- GLOVES ARE SO IMPORTANT, even just when i was using purple shampoo, it stained my hands purple for days so just be careful

- BE VERY CAREFUL USING HEAT ON YOUR HAIR AND USE A HEAT PROTECTANT!! after putting my hair through this much, i really wouldn’t recommend using the highest heat setting with straighteners and curlers, i worked my way up from the lowest setting up to the highest setting and i only did that because i have A LOT of hair and it just wouldn’t curl or straighten that easily

- give your hair TIME, if you are bleaching dark virgin hair or hair that has been coloured with box dye, you won’t go from black to platinum blonde overnight. it is a LONNNNGGGG, slow process and you need to be patient and careful if you don’t want your hair to get fried and fall out

- blonde hair is not low maintenance, it requires a lot of upkeep, so make sure you protect and care for your hair afterwards and use purple shampoo and do protein/oil masks

- stick to sulfate free haircare products!!!
