Design of Tension Member as per IS800:2007 | Staggered Bolting & Lug Angle Design (Hinglish)

This video explains in detail the design of the tension member.
Two numerical are taken one on staggered type bolted connection and the other on lug angle design. For both numerical, Trial section selection, connection design, check for limit state of collapse (i.e. check for Strength due to gross yielding of section (Tdg) Strength due to net section rupture failure(Tdn), and Strength due to block shear(Tdb) ) and check for serviceability (i.e. stiffness or slenderness ratio) were performed.
Standard IS Code is followed for formula and other standard values.
