10 Things You Didn’t Know About John Dillinger

John Herbert Dillinger, one of the most famous names in modern American criminal scene, Dillinger lived between 1903 and 1934. During the Depression of the 1930s, his bank robberies were generally regarded as revenge on society's financial institutions that were unfairly exploiting the economically distressed. Outside Chicago’s Biograph Theatre, Dillinger, also famed as America’s “Public Enemy No. 1″ was gunned down and killed in a hail of bullets fired by federal agents. In a fiery bank-robbing career that lasted just over a year, Dillinger and his associates robbed 11 banks for more than $300,000. They broke jails and narrowly escaped capture multiple times, and killed seven police officers and three federal agents. In as much as his crime spree didn't last forever, John Dillinger left an everlasting imprint in the world's criminal history. Let's look at a few things you probably didn't know about him.
