Golden Globe Nominee Daniel Kaluuya brings activist and revolutionary Fred Hampton to life in Shaka King's powerful film, Judas and the Black Messiah. Here, the actor talks to Tara Hitchcock about finding the 'voice' of Fred, spending time with Hampton's son, Fred Hampton Jr. and widow, Akua Njeri, and filming some of the more powerful scenes in the movie. Lakeith Stanfield shines as FBI informant William O'Neal. However, it's obvious the actor was torn about playing him and you can tell he's not the biggest fan of press junkets. Dominique Fishback captures the quiet confidence of Hampton's then-fiancé Deborah Johnson (now Akua Njeri / 'Mama Akua').
