For the fourth time in just over a week, another blast of snow has hammered the areas around Denver, Colorado. Today, a serious accident shutdown i70 near Morrison, CO leading people stranded for hours as they attempt to make their way through the pass. Dozens of vehicles turned around and drove Eastbound in the Westbound lanes to find alternate routes around the accident while others roamed the interstate asking one another what was going on and when would the highway open. A short time after, i70 Eastbound was declared too unsafe to travel due to accidents and slippery conditions and was also shutdown from the Eisenhower tunnel, to Georgetown to allow crews to get caught up on cleaning up the interstates.
