Rowan Dean calls for Qantas to abandon its Acknowledgment of Country
Qantas has been criticised for persisting on its Acknowledgment of Country every time a plane lands on Australian soil.
The criticisms have grown louder after it was revealed the national airline spent around $370,000 on support for the Voice’s Yes campaign.
Sky News host Rowan Dean has now called for an option to be placed on Qantas tickets.
“There should be ‘Do I want to hear the Welcome to Country or not?’
“No thank you, big N-O.
“You know what, we don’t need to do this anymore.”
