Gothic & Symphonic Metal History, Influence and Evolution

Disclaimer: My intention here is not to discredit the work Mojo has done, but massive media platforms can play an important role to spread the word and promote new artists so I hope my video is not only entertaining, but informative and people can really start exploring new music giving the chance to all of these very talented artists! I understand mojo had probably look into Spotify most played heavy metal and only see artists from 40 years ago, so i think we need to talk about actual new metal!

...As I was browsing the internet I came across mojo YT channel, Every video they make talking about Heavy Metal is about bands from the 80's I talk about one in my video, but later on I found out they have a few videos and they all talk about the same 80's stuff. That's 40 years ago and even if they or you might miss that era, Heavy Metal Music has evolved.

I tried to get some facts But I realized Heavy metal has diverged so much from that time. Gothic, and Symphonic Metal are my favorite genres so I decided to focus on them taking in mind they have influenced the music we listen today in the Metal World. I know there might be a lot of bands you may expect me to talk about, but there are so many, and the genera has diversified so much it is rather impossible to cover everything in one video.
