💔 Today, Eremushka received just two spoonfuls of wet food.

Not because that’s all she needed—but because it’s all I could spare.

Every day, I stretch a single can of food across an entire family of elderly hospice dogs, trying to ensure each one gets at least a small taste. No caregiver should have to decide which senior gets a little more and which one goes without. Yet this has become our reality.

Running a hospice for aging and terminally ill dogs is more than a commitment—it’s my life’s mission. These dogs have already endured abandonment, illness, and hardship. They have reached the final chapter of their lives, and they deserve comfort, dignity, and full bellies.

Instead, many are forced to rely on low-quality food that can cause stomach pain and digestive issues because it’s all we can afford. Watching fragile seniors struggle through hunger is heartbreaking.
