Gary Ferrer - A Blind Dance Instructor Who Perseveres | American Latino

Gary Ferrer isn’t your ordinary instructor. Despite losing his ability to see, Ferrer teaches folklorico and Zumba classes at his church in San Bernardino, California. Teaching traditional Mexican dance and fitness to the surrounding Latino community provides Gary with a much needed boost to overcome his health condition. The 28-year-old dance enthusiast lost his eyesight last year after contracting meningitis. But that disability didn’t stop him or set him back, it only made him stronger and more devoted to his passion. And we find out how, and why, coming up, right here on American Latino TV.
