TWIST WAVES EASY CURLING IRON HAIR TUTORIAL | PREP FOR UPDO'S & BRAIDS | JUSTINE MARJAN

These twist waves are one of my favorite ways to create natural looking beach waves in the hair! It can be tricky to master the twist technique at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually pretty easy. These types of waves are a great base to add texture to the hair before updos and braids or can be worn as is. You can also customize the waves by twisting more or less along the length of the hair for more movement or a more relaxed finish, or use a larger or smaller curling iron for different results. Let me know if you’ve tried this technique before and what you think!

Tools and products used:
- Tresemme Micro Mist Hairspray in #3 Boost. This is an amazing likghtweight hairspray that gives hold and memory to the hair without feeling stiff or sticky.
- WetBrush Go Green Detangler. I love this because of it’s biodegradable handle and the IntelliFlex bristles that easily detangle and glide through the hair without pain or snagging.
- ghd 1” Classic Curl Iron. This is an amazing iron for creating lots of movement and texture in your hair. I also think this is an all around amazing iron if you have short hair.
- Oribe Dry Texture Spray. This is basically the holy grail of texture sprays. It’s as if dry shampoo and hairspray had a baby. It adds light airy volume to the hair and a matte dry finish
- Leonor Greyl écat naturel. I love this product for adding hydration and separation to the hair without feeling like there is a lot of product in your hair. Think of it as lotion for the hair. I like to work a small amount through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair for shine and finishing.
