Why Did I Say Okie Doki? Animation | Doki Doki Literature Club

After almost 2 months of non-stop animating I finally finished my first WHOLE music video! Woohoo!

This animation music video was heavily inspired by TheStupendium's own music video in terms of the pacing and general tone, so if you would refrain from calling me out on "copying" that would be great. I hoped to separate my animation of the song from his as best I could by using many different colors and styles .

The song itself also gave off a really good tone for what Doki Doki Literature Club is which was perfect for an animation. This is why this animation is a bit darker than what I usually create while it also brings some diversity to the channel which is what I really like to see.

Anyways, I had ALOT of fun creating this and I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did making it! :)

Q: What program did you use to make this?
A: I used Adobe Animate CC to create this and many other videos on my channel.

Q: How long did it take to create this animation?
A: It took exactly 43 days to finish this, I did not expect to finish a 6 minute animation in that time woah.

Q: Will you be making any other music videos soon?
A: I am quite drained from this, possibly expect another animation music video but there's a good chance I won't finish the whole thing.

Q: How did you create the effect of the "drawing/creation" of the backgrounds?
A: I basically drew the whole background, then deleted some portions and keyframed each time I did do that, and finally I reversed the frames to appear that is was being drawn instead of erased.
