What and why HTML ?
HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language, which is a standard language used to create web pages and other types of digital content. It is the backbone of the World Wide Web and is used to structure and display content on the Internet.

HTML consists of a series of tags, which are instructions that tell a web browser how to display text, images, and other elements on a page. For example, the p tag is used to create a paragraph of text, while the img tag is used to insert an image.

HTML documents are made up of a series of elements, each of which is surrounded by a pair of tags. For example, the following code creates a simple web page with a heading and a paragraph
