Air Force Global Strike Command Mission Video

Air Force Global Strike Command is the responsible for two-thirds of the nation's Nuclear Triad, which includes nuclear-capable strategic bombers (the B-52 Stratofortress and B-2 Spirit) as well as the nation's only fleet of ground-based ICBMs-the Minuteman III. The command also uses the conventional-only B-1B Lancer in tandem with its strategic bomber counterparts to provide mission support to all U.S. combatant commands around the world. It is the nation's "big stick," deterring potential near-peer adversaries while assuring allies and partners- an effort that has kept large-scale conflict at bay for more than 70 years.
