I have a lot of dresses with dolman sleeves, but I can’t wear them now because I don’t have a suitable jacket.
I took me long to decide what to do. Today I’m going to show you how to make a pattern for a jacket with dolman sleeves.
I’ll make it on the basis of the pattern for dolman sleeves.
I’m going to show you most of the sewing process. I want everyone of you to have such amazing jackets.
The jacket will be lined. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to line jackets. I’ll show you how to do it.

I want to make a big beautiful collar. You can make a collar of any shape you want.
The bottom of the jacket is slightly round on the front. There will be 6 buttons attached on the front.
Use your imagination! You can sew anything you want!

This is going to be a double-breasted coat with a collar stand on the back.
You can make a jacket of any length you want. It depends on what you are planning to wear it with.
We’ll be working with the back pattern first. I’ll make a pattern for the front on the basis of this pattern for the back.
Do not forget to mark the waistline.

Do not forget about the balance. The front shoulder should be 2cm higher than the back one.
