Antarctica expeditions with the bark EUROPA

Bark EUROPA is sailing each year to Antarctica, the white continent. Each season (december - March) we have about 4 to 5 voyages scheduled. The voyages start in Punta Arenas (Chile) or in Ushuaia (Argentina) and take about 3 weeks. On board we have guides on board who can explain all about Antarctica and the wildlife we will meet. The last voyage of the season always takes about 1,5 month and will bring you to Antarctica, South Georgia, Tristan da Cunha and ends in Cape Town (South Africa) On board you will become part of the voyage crew, so no lazy cruise but an active adventure! With or without sailing experience you will be sailing the ship and be helping in setting the sails and for the daredevils climb the masts!

Some people become interested in the North and South Pole after reading about the voyages of Willem Barentz and Shackleton. Others are more fascinated by the rich wildlife or the beauty of the unspoiled natural environment.

On board you will meet an international crew, having a minimum of 15 different nationalities on board is not an exception on board bark EUROPA.
