Friday Sessions #20 // "El Condor Pasa" (cover) featuring Charm of Finches

Happy Friday! In todays' Friday Session we have visitors all the way from Australia. This is a collaboration with the band Charm of Finches (Check them out: https://charmoffinchesband.com), who we met at Folk Alliance International in New Orleans in January this year, and who we're also working with in the ongoing Global Music Match program.

El Condor Pasa was composed by a Peruvian songwriter called Daniel Alomía Robles and it’s based on traditional Andean music from Peru. Paul Simon wrote the English lyrics, and our rendition is based on his version.

Just to think that we can sit on two different continents, and still play together. What a joy! We're so happy with how our voices blend together.
