Dried Flower Ashtray

This is a video I did when I first started playing around with resin. I used ARTRESIN, some dried flowers I got from pikes market in seattle, and then of course Painthuffers metal flake in monochromatic purple. I gave this astray to my grandma, and I gave the other one at the end to my grandpa!! the emblem was off of a Dodge Ram I worked on at my old bodyshop. This is a Quick setting, non-toxic resin. It’s a 1-1 mixing ratio that has to be slowly mixed to make sure it’s fully mixed and has not to many air bubbles. If the temperature is a warm high 60-70 I can unmold my projects in 6 hours.
I am not a frequent smoker personally but we have one that has been quite a lot by friends here and so far it’s just dirty, no burns or anything melted. I have cleaned it up multiple times to check and it is still beautiful going strong!
