Here's something special and different for Labor Day. It's a reel prepared by Advertising Age (an advertising trade publication) collecting the best commercials of 1986, and hosted by then editor Fred Danzig (1925-2011). Though I've posted a few of these ads before over the years, many of them are presented at their full length here.
