Group 2 _Vietnam Museum of Ethnology Introduction

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, part of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, functions both as a research institute and a public museum dedicated to the country’s diverse ethnic groups. Its mission encompasses conducting scientific studies, collecting and documenting materials, conserving artifacts, curating exhibitions, and safeguarding the cultural and historical heritage of Vietnam’s communities. In addition, the museum plays a guiding role in research, preservation efforts, and the application of techniques relevant to ethnographic museums.
