Amy's Story

22-year old Amy was born with the serious heart condition hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). Her parents were told to prepare for the worst and she wasn't expected to survive.

Amy has defied all expectations. Doctors told her that she'd need a heart transplant in her early twenties, but this will now be delayed until her forties. Working as a personal trainer, she went from being "ill and unfit" to "showing all the men how to lift weights!"

This is her inspiring story.
