Because of my hope in Christ, I have joy that doesn’t come and go depending on life’s circumstances. Let me explain 👇🏻

God gave us wonderful, beautiful gifts that we get to experience here on earth that give us JOY! Gifts like falling in love, having babies, laughter, friendship, delicious food to enjoy, beautiful places to explore, the list goes on. God “richly provides us with everything to enjoy.” (1 Timothy 6:17) But the joy from these gifts doesn’t last forever.

However, there is a kind of joy that DOES last. It’s the hope we have that the hardships of this world are not forever because those who are saved by grace through Christ will live forever with Him in a perfect world. The hurt, the grief, the loss, the pain of this world will not last if you have hope in Christ because you know there will be an END to the pain and suffering when Jesus comes again, defeats it all, and believers get the undeserving gift from God of spending eternity with Him, in a perfect world with no sin. And it brings me so much joy to know that no matter what I go through here on this Earth, it will not last forever. I know how the story ends. Jesus wins. No more pain. No more suffering. Eternity with Him. Forever. In a perfect world. Thank you Jesus!!!
