Hitch hiking chicks come along for a ride

Mama bird was training her baby chickadees who got stuck by rain (too heavy to fly) in the back of our truck. We discovered them after some travelling time when we got to work.... heard chirps from the bed of the truck. Picked them up and put them on the back seat on a towel. After they dried up they flew around a bit, hung out sitting on us, etc. Pretty cool. Drove back home cancelling our to-do list and let them go in the yard. We could hear their parents calling them once they flew off. Successful day! :-)
