Explosions seen over Israel and West Bank after Iran launches drones and missiles

Explosions were seen in the sky above Israel and the West Bank after Iran launched explosive drones and fired missiles at Israel in its first ever direct attack on Israeli territory. Israel's military said around 200 'aerial units' were launched from Iran, with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corp saying it had launched ballistic missiles at 'specific targets' in Israel as part of what it deemed 'Operation True Promise'. US officials said the US military had shot down a number of drones.
