Pin-hole camera extravaganza - Make your own camera with Steve Macleod - Workshop 1

This was recorded live on Monday 26th October at 11am.

Join us for this lively and informative workshop where Steve talks us through making a camera out of household waste!

All you'll need is the following:

- Tetra-PAC container (an oat milk carton) and silver foil

- Pinhole exposure calculator sheet - which you can download here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/19XFfAOFkRRw-tClPgkWTW69yMAYW05pO

- Small print box containing: a black plastic light-tight bag & sheets of
photographic paper (TO BE OPENED IN A DARK ROOM, IDEALLY PITCH BLACK!)

He guides us through step by step, explaining the processes and reasons behind them - teaching us things about basic photography we never knew - thanks, Steve!

Also, he chats openly about his mental health struggles, and how taking pictures using this analogue method allows us time to reflect, pause and ultimately slow down.

Please do sign up for the 2nd and 3rd part of Steve's workshop on Monday 2nd Nov and Monday 9th Nov at our Eventbrite page here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/make-for-tomorrow-31087184609

Please keep an eye on the website www.makeyourmarknhs.org - as we have our festival running from Monday 9th Nov - Friday 13h and we would love you to join us!

We hope you enjoy it!
