In this lesson I'm going to take you through the history of the bass guitar from 1935 to 1969, and reveal all the bass players you should already know... but might have missed.

Here's some cool facts from the new vid...
- The first electric fretless bass was invented in 1935!
- The first commercially recorded fretless was used (and made) by an Englishman.
- The legendary bass line for "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5 was actually played by a saxophone player!
- The first time slap bass ever captured on record was in 1969, by the godfather of funk himself!
- And heaps more cool stuff...
