True X frame vs Deadcat FPV Frame!

True X vs Deadcat frame… one of the most confusing decisions when building an FPV drone.

True X frames are perfectly symmetrical.
That means equal response in all directions, tighter control, cleaner flips and a more locked in freestyle feel. This is why most freestyle pilots prefer True X.

Deadcat frames push the front arms wider.
Big advantage? Your props stay out of the camera view, which makes your footage much cleaner. Perfect for cinematic flying and content creation.

But there is a tradeoff.
Deadcat is slightly asymmetrical, so the flight feel is not as precise as True X during aggressive moves.

So what should you pick?
If your goal is control and freestyle → True X
If your goal is clean footage → Deadcat

At the end, it is not about which frame is better.
It is about what you want your drone to do.
