Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 8 First Run Review: a stripped-back trail shoe for picking up the pace

The Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 8 is a lightweight trail shoe that’s made to tackle varied terrain with speed, featuring a secure fit in the upper to keep your foot in place over uneven ground.

There’s a thin breathable mesh upper to keep the feet cool that includes a lining to keep debris out, a React midsole foam to deliver a firmer ride with a sprinkling of cushioning and a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to add responsiveness.

Testers Mike, Nick and Tom have been putting the shoe through its paces over a first run.
