Disney Cruise with a SERVICE DOG // Day 1

Welcome to the first of 4 vlogs of our Disney Cruise! Zenith and I went on a cruise on the Disney Dream with our family over winter break, and we had a blast! In todays vlog we find surprisingly nice (for a cruise ship) relief areas, meet Pluto, get paperworks sorted out, and get settled in to our new home away form home. - Zenith lays on a towel with his Nylabone on the hotel room floor
- Zenith will wear a light blue bandana with pictures of Mickey and Minnie and landmarks from around the world like the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, etc.
- Zenith guides me through the airport to get to the Disney shuttle meeting place
- We wait for the shuttle, then go and board the bus. I have to heal Zenith in the aisle of the bus because it is too narrow. He lays under my seat.
- I film out the window of the bus when we can see the cruise ship
- Zenith guides me onto the ship!

- The camera pans around the atrium of the ship
- Zenith meets Pluto off harness! This was his first time meeting a character. Zenith is wagging his tail and wants to sniff Pluto. He sits for a picture when I ask him to, but he is very wiggly and just wants to get up and play with Pluto. He picks up his leash and sniffs Pluto more and tries to play. He is so happy!
- The grass at the service animal relief area is in a rectangular plastic container, kind of like a baby pool but with very short sides.
- The grass on the veranda in my room is in the same sort of rectangular plastic container. It takes up most of the veranda, but there is still some space for two chairs and a little space for one person to stand. We are still docked, and you can see the Disney port from my veranda.
- Zenith's cape is bright yellow with black writing and some red details. The sides say "SERVICE DOG" on the first line and "DO NOT DISTRACT" on the next line in all capital letters. Under the words there are three pictures showing "no touch, no talk, no eye contact." The center panel of the cape (on his back) has a big stop sign and says "WORKING" above the stop sign and "KEEP BACK" under the stop sign in all capital letters. The cape is the same color and style as my harness sign on the harness handle which says "IGNORE WORKING DOG" in all capital letters and has the same three pictures showing "no touch, no talk, no eye contact."
- Zenith is looking out the glass door in our room.
- Zenith's crate is set up on the far corner of the room by the veranda and across from the couch. His food and water bowl are set up to the right of his crate, in between his crate and the couch, against the door to the veranda. His bowls are on a hand towel to contain his messy eating and drinking.
- We are sitting on lounge chairs on decl 11 and Zenith lays on the floor looking out the window. He watches as the boat starts moving. He doesn't seem to really notice, he just likes watching out his window.
- After dinner the camera pans and you can see our desserts. I have some sort of chocolate cake thing with a raspberry whipped cream topping. The camera pans around the restaurant, Animator's Palate, and then down to Zenith laying under the table. Our table is against a wall, so I sat closest to the wall to keep Zenith under the table right next to the wall so he was completely out of the way of everyone walking around the restaurant.
- When Zenith finishes his dinner he walks up and down along the side of the couch on the floor, rubbing his body against the couch. This is just a silly little thing he has always done.
- I'm wearing a navy blue dress with stripes. It is a simple slip-style dress (I think, I know nothing about fashion lol).
- Polaroid picture of Zenith meeting Mickey Mouse. Zenith is sitting and giving Mickey a high five. The Polaroid has a yellow frame with mickey mouse feet at the bottom under the photo because it is Mickey Mouse themed film.
