DIY: the High-Lift Root Touch Up Technique

Hi lift colors for blonde hair. I use a level 12N neutral. Gives a balanced cool ash tone to the hair. No more brass. No more roots. Easy at home hair tutorial! I show you a little more advanced way to lighten hair. In this case here I'm showing how to to a root touch up to match blonde highlight and base. I am using a level 12N high lift. I explain how when using a high lift you use two parts developer and only one part color, and using a 30 or 40 vol developer. A high lift gives many more levels of lift than color does and sometimes almost as many levels as bleach can. So why use high lift instead of bleach?! Because high lift developers the cancel out color as you lift, so toning is no longer needed becausue its technically toning (or deposting orange-canceling tones. So much quicker and effective.
