Eddie Calvert billed as 'The Man With The Golden Trumpet' reached #1 in the UK and #6 in the US in 1954.
It stayed at #1 in the UK for 9 wks which is still a record for an instrumental.
Originally planned as the b side filler it was soon out playing Mystery St and became the first #1 ever recorded at the world famous Abbey Road studios.
