Frigates and Men o' War | Pirate Ship Types

Most pirates would commandeer small and nimble vessels like sloops or schooners, but the most ambitious amongst them would acquire something much larger. These ships were fast, seaworthy and could carry a lot of cannon. With them the pirates could take on any foe, blockade ports and sail far beyond the Caribbean. This is the story of the pirate flagship, their own Man o' War.
