Fake news: The White House UFC card will absolutely count on fighters’ records.People are saying the White House UFC card won’t count on fighters’ records because it’s “not sanctioned.”I’m seeing a lot of fake headlines floating around saying the White House UFC card won’t count on fighters’ records because it “won’t be sanctioned.”
That’s absolute nonsense.
Sanctioning a fight isn’t some impossible task. In many jurisdictions it costs around $100 to get a bout sanctioned, and the UFC literally spent decades getting MMA sanctioned across the entire United States.
From New York to California, they fought the political battles, changed the laws, and built the regulatory system we have today.
You’re telling me the same promotion that legalized the sport nationwide suddenly can’t sanction one event? At the White House of all places?
Come on.
This is how misinformation spreads in the fight world. People read a headline, don’t check the facts, and suddenly everyone believes the card “won’t count.”
If the UFC runs an event, you can bet those fights are going on the fighters’ records.
Stop falling for fake headlines.
