If becoming an astronaut and going to space is on your bucket list, then you might be in luck. Virgin Galactic, an aerospace company founded by Burt Rutan of Scaled Composites and Richard Branson of the Virgin Group has teamed up to make commercial spaceflight accessible for the average person (with $$$$). So how does Virgin Galactic work? The two aircrafts to get us there, called WhiteKnightTwo and SpaceShipTwo have some truly groundbreaking engineering, enabling them to navigate into space and re-enter the atmosphere safely.
