Mars: The Sunrise + The Sound of Martian Wind.

Sound of Martian wind blowing across NASA’s InSight lander. This is the first (known) sound recorded on Mars. It’s remarkable, because InSight, which successfully landed at Elysium Planitia, on 26 November 2018 at 19:52:59 UTC does not have a microphone.., rather an instrument designed for measuring the shaking of marsquakes, which picked up the vibrations in the air — the sound waves, in other words.
Winds blowing between 10 and 15 miles per hour over InSight’s solar panels caused the spacecraft to vibrate, and short-period seismometers recorded the vibrations.
Sound waves recorded by the air pressure sensor on NASA’s InSight lander and sped up by a factor of 100. The Mars 2020 rover will carry a microphone to the Red Planet, to make the first traditional sound recordings of another world.
